Terms of Service

Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using stagd.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms form a binding agreement between you and STAG'D ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Who May Use STAG'D

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use STAG’D with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any ticket purchase, commission, or other agreement you enter into through the platform. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Account Types

Creative: For independent artists, musicians, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, and other creators. Creatives receive a public portfolio page at stagd.app/[username], a commission inbox, and the ability to list ticketed events.

Patron: For people who discover, hire creatives, and attend events. Patron accounts do not have public portfolio pages.

You choose Creative or Patron at registration. Patron users can become a Creative at any time from their profile. This is a one-time change and cannot be reversed to Patron afterwards.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of all content you upload to STAG'D: portfolio images, project descriptions, event listings, commission briefs, and messages.

By posting content on STAG'D, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform and in STAG'D's own marketing materials (social media, press, and promotional use). We will not alter your work or attribute it to anyone other than you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content:

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms at our discretion, without prior notice.

5. Commissions

STAG'D provides the tools for Creatives and clients to find each other, negotiate, and document agreements. Any commission, project, or payment arrangement is a direct agreement between the two parties involved. STAG'D is not a party to those transactions and is not liable for disputes, non-delivery, or payment failures arising from them.

Commission payments in V1 are made off-platform. The payment confirmation layer inside STAG'D (mark as paid, confirm receipt) is a record-keeping tool only. It is not a payment processor, escrow, or guarantee of any kind.

In-app escrow is planned for a future version and will be communicated clearly when available.

6. Event Ticketing

STAG'D processes ticket payments on behalf of event organisers through our integrated payment gateway. When you purchase a ticket:

Refunds: You can get a refund in four situations:

In each case we refund the ticket priceto your original payment method. The STAG’D booking fee is not refunded. Payment processing charges are paid to the payment provider when you buy and cannot be returned by anyone. How long the money then takes to appear depends on your bank or wallet provider.

Once an event's doors have opened and scanning has commenced, the event is considered to have taken place. Refunds are not available after this point except at the organiser's discretion.

STAG'D is not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of any event. Our responsibility is limited to the ticketing and payment infrastructure.

For full details, see our Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy. Tickets are digital and delivered instantly. STAG'D does not ship physical goods.

7. If You List Events

This section applies when you use STAG’D to list an event and sell tickets (“organiser”). It is in addition to the rest of these terms.

Your event, your responsibility. You confirm that you have the right to run the event, that you hold any permits or licences it requires, and that the venue is booked. You are responsible to your ticket holders for the event itself: whether it happens, what it is, and what takes place there. STAG’D provides the ticketing and payment infrastructure and is not a promoter, producer, or co-organiser of your event.

Our fee. STAG’D charges a booking fee on each ticket sold, added on top of your ticket price and paid by the buyer. You receive the full ticket price you set. The current rate is shown to you when you create an event. Payment processing charges are also paid by the buyer.

Payouts. Money from ticket sales is not earned by you until your event has taken place. Payouts are prepared after the event has ended, from 72 hours onward, and released by STAG’D. We may delay or withhold a payout where an event has been cancelled, where refunds or chargebacks are outstanding or likely, or where we are investigating suspected fraud.

Cancelling or changing an event. If you cancel, we will refund your ticket holders the ticket price, normally within 72 hours, and no payout will be made to you. If you change the date or venue of an event that has already sold tickets, we will notify ticket holders on your behalf, and they may request a refund if the change means they can no longer attend — those refunds come out of your proceeds in the same way. You can change the venue at any point, including on the day. The date and start time lock 48 hours before the event once tickets have sold, because a change that late cannot reach everyone in time; if the date has to move inside that window, postpone the event instead.

Postponing an event. If you cannot go ahead on the announced date and do not yet have a new one, you can postpone. Ticket sales stop, ticket holders are told that their tickets remain valid, and no payout is prepared until the event actually takes place. While an event is postponed, ticket holders may request a refund at any time, and those refunds come out of your proceeds. Setting a new date puts the event back on sale and existing tickets carry over. An event that stays postponed without a new date may be reviewed by us and, after a reasonable period, cancelled with refunds to ticket holders.

Refunds. Refunds arising from your cancellation, postponement or change are your responsibility, and the cost may be recovered from your proceeds on that event or from amounts owed to you on your other events.

If a buyer disputes a payment. If a ticket buyer disputes a payment with their bank or card issuer, that ticket is void and will not admit anyone. We will tell you when this happens. Where the amount is significant, or where disputes on your events are frequent, we may recover the disputed amount and any fee charged to us from money we hold for you, from your payout on that event, or from amounts owed to you on your other events. We are not obliged to recover, and choosing not to on one occasion does not prevent us doing so later.

Door entry. Whether to admit a ticket holder is your decision, made by you or your door staff. Where you have asked us to tell buyers that ID will be checked, we will do so at checkout. You are responsible for applying your own entry rules lawfully and consistently.

Tax. You are responsible for determining, collecting, and paying any tax due on your ticket sales. STAG’D does not calculate or remit tax on your behalf.

We may remove an event, suspend ticket sales, or close an organiser account where an event breaches these terms, where we believe it is unlawful or unsafe, or where it is being used to defraud buyers.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The STAG'D name, logo, visual identity, platform design, code, and copy are the property of STAG'D. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them without prior written permission.

User-generated content remains the property of the user who created it, subject to the licence granted in Section 4.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your public profile is removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy. Active commission threads and ticketing records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Serious violations, including fraud, harassment, or repeated intellectual property infringement, may result in immediate termination without notice. We will provide notice where reasonably possible for less serious violations.

11. Disclaimers

STAG'D is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STAG'D is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or reputational damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform, including losses arising from disputes between users, event cancellations, or payment failures.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to STAG'D in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or through an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that point constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

The version date at the top of this page always reflects when the terms were last updated.
